This is an alignment oriented practice that is perfect for beginners, those recovering from injuries, or anyone who just wants to slow down and take things easy. As with Laura's other Mindfulness Yoga classes, this practice is as concerned with the workings of the mind as with the workings of the body. For the months of May, June, July and August all of Laura's Mindfulness Yoga classes will focus on the cultivation of the Four Brahama-Viharas: friendliness, compassion, joy and equanimity. In May, we will cultivate Metta Bhavana: The Practice of Lovingkindness. |
